Argh...!
99.4% of Tyria explored and I'm just about out of places to explore.
I went to Ascalon and Shiverpeak arenas in random, but that didn't add a thing to my percentage.
Three questions:
1. In Dunes mission, I found the bottom left corner of the map has a bridge that is up. I see from maps that some people have explored right into the corner, but the bridge never seems to come down for me. How do you get across the bridge?
2. Frost gate I can't find a way down to Rurick's path to clear one of the clouds to the left of the map. Is there a way down there (I'm playing a warrior)
3. In the North Wall mission I cleared most of the area between the North Wall and Piken, coming off at the bridge on the way back. But my cloud seems to be larger the the ones people have posted on their maps. My lower section of this cloud is not cleared. How do I get down there?
Thanks in advance...

I think all those questions have answers in either this thread or the one in Tyrian Explorers forum. To summarize:
1) Bridge is "up" but really down, just play Indiana Jones and walk across
2) Yes there is, using Necrotic Traversal
3) Take the path that goes west and starts RIGHT BEFORE the final giant gate opens on your run back. It will have 10-12 charr on it, wall-hug that whole area.

I got to 98.5 last night with some jungle missions.
Got Ascalon 100%
Shiverpeaks (north and south) 99.9% - I have to do THK and another mission to get small spots
Desert 100%
Kryta 100%
Jungle - fogs
Hope once I clear the jungle, it gets me closer to 99% and them some in ring of fire islands but not much. I believe the last .xx will be a pain since I do not see huge fogs anywhere.
Thanks Leighwyn and TC Fish, and good luck to everyone else.

Help request. My Tyria ranger is going for Cathan 100%, however I can't work out how to uncover this area here:
The alliances of Zos and cavalon aren't every informative, so can anyone tell me how to get his area uncovered?
Thanks in advanced

Some impossible areas in Cantha
I'm at 96.6% and I'm running out of areas to explore. I've noted a few places that seem impossible to reach:
Shing Jea Arena- I can get the waiting area, but not the actual mission since I'm a lvl20.
Monastery Overlook- I got most, but not all of this and cannot get back in. I cannot seem to ferry in with others and the training quest in there is long since done.
I've been looking through 100% maps of Cantha, and even with these impossible spots, it seems like I'm running out of places to explore. Are there any tricky spots that people usually overlook? I've been going over these maps with my dual monitors and I can't really seem to find anything else that would get me the 3.3% the rest of the way.
Any help anybody can give would be greatly appreciated.

how do you get to these insane amounts?!!? Do you use running builds? I've spent ages and am only on 82%
I really cant see anywhere apart from droknar run area (which is a lot of fog... but no-one will fight that and almost everyone runs it!!!)
When I get really stuck I'd apreciate an expert to look at a screenshot of mine and tell me where i'm missing... is that ok or is it a bit cheeky???
many thanks,
Tom

it just takes time and patience. i took about 3.5-4 hours to clear out the droks run by fighting all the way up. i also got lucky in dreadnoughts b/c america had favor and i got rid of my dp.
but my real reason for posting is to thank Leighwyn. got grandmaster yesterday based on your maps. thanks for all ur efforts. they're much appreciated.

Where do you use that? I have never been able to find anything on the path to even get down there.

Two ways, and Necrotic Traversal is required for either of them.
1) When you first run into the dwarves and ice golems, don't kill the ice golems. Instead, try to pull them over to where Rurik and his guards are. With lots of luck, the golems will kill one of the guards, allowing you to traverse to the corpse. However, more often then not, the golems will stand too far to hit with their normal attacks and thus cannot kill the guards.
2) Farther down by where the bonus is, you'll see a wolf below the bridge being bombarded by ballistas. Attack the wolf with a bow and it will come after you. Due to the lack of a y-axis, you should be able to melee kill it as it comes under the bridge. Use the corpse to traverse down.
Either method will get you to the road where Rurik runs and allow you to explore more of the map than usual. Towards the southern end, watch out for spawns that get larger over time (they are usually what kills Rurik if you take too long at the end of the mission). If you used the wolf's corpse, Rurik may be in danger if you don't eventually take out the mobs, but by then, you can probably explore what you need to.

Alpha Moth, the part of the map that you're missing there is accessible by doing the bonus in The Wilds.
To do the bonus, you'll want to hook to the left at the first fork you come to (with like 3 paths). FOllow that to the end until you see two centaurs standing around each other. Don't get too close to these centaurs, as you need to hear their dialogue. After they're finished talking you can kill them and take the Vine Seed from there. Carry the Vine Seed over to the area you're mission, and it'll make a bridge for you.

You can check on gwiki or ask around for help with the bonus, there are usually people doing it. I also noticed that in bloodstone fen, you have not explored behind the bloodstone, it gives some nice exploration.

3rd place is right after the first cut scene. Rurik is hanging out behind the gate and I've seen two wolves out there. Fairly easy to pull one in and get the kill. From there you can hike all the way back and see the edge of the world (oh and knock out a small .2-3% of your map).
